I called after looking at all the good reviews and asked about the fish he said he had swai and whiting but he said his swai is soooo good that he stands by it and if it don’t taste good he’ll give me my money back… first off no one in the food biz would make that claim if they didn’t know for sure they food aint smacking, so i took him on his offer and bought the fish and fries and can soda combo and when i got there and saw who he was in person i kinda felt that it was going be smacking. He wasn’t lying!!!! Best dam swai fried in the city and I’ve been to quiet a few it’s even better than majority of the lake trouts spots to!!! Def 5 star and my go to!!!

Tonight was my first time ordering. I got the Fish & Chicken combo . The fish and chicken was fried to perfection ,well seasoned and cooked to order . I will definitely continue to support this business! The owner was very friendly and took his time preparing my meal .. We need more businesses like this one .
I was looking for new restaurants and I remembered this restaurant. Before visiting the restaurant, I decided to read the Google reviews, and I saw that many customers had written positive reviews. What really caught my attention is the owner took time to respond. After placing my order, I was talking with a regular customer of AFC Food Mart and Carry Out who also spoke well of the food and the owner. What I noticed through reading the reviews and the owner's interaction with his customers while I waited is the sense of community. Now, most people reading this really want to know how is the food. I ordered four whole wings with four pieces of fish and a large french fry. The food portions were great for the price and the food was good. I had an opportunity to chat with the owner about what he wants to provide his customers, which is good food at a reasonable price. I will definitely be back and tell my friends to support this business. I hope this review encourages you to give AFC Food Mart and Carry Out a try.
I met the owner's today he was delightful and kind. This was my 3rd visit and when I tell you the food is delicious to me when I can eat it with wanting some type of bread. So far the polish dog, fries, chicken, shrimp (not small) Jamaican beef pies and today was fish all have been delicious with the most amazing flavor. Reasonable prices. This carryout is one of those spots that I would typically call a hole in the wall, but the food was extremely good. I got fried chicken and fried shrimp. The fried chicken was seasoned so well better than any commercial establishment and the same way for the shrimp, the shrimp did not have too much breading on it. It was a very light crispy taste. Rarely leave reviews unless my service was terrible or extremely good and this was extremely good. It was just one old man behind the glass counter, and he did his thing.
So many of my friends were speaking about how good the food was here , that I had to try it for myself!! I called my order in and was humbly thanked for my order. Not the rushed , standard kind but the sincere thank you. When I arrived , a gentle gentlemen greeted me with a kind smile and warm food. Everything I ordered was fresh, crispy , made to order and seasoned to perfection and NOT GREASY!!!! I ordered the pizza , beef patties, fish /fries and chicken . Everything was absolutely delicious. My family and I will definitely be back !!!
Last night about 9pm I stumbled upon this place. l just wanted a snack. I ordered 3 fried whole wings and told the guy if they're good I will comeback. He said I guess I'll be seeing you again!!!! I have seen many people coming and going from this establishment. The other day, my husband decided to go in and grab a menu. He said it was black owned, so I knew we would patronize the business soon. Today we tried it and wow! I ordered a two piece fish with fries. As you can tell from the picture, it was A LOT of fish. Not only that, it was golden, crispy, and hot. Even the fries were seasoned well. My husband had the chicken wings and he said they were really good. I'm going to tell all my family and friends about this spot. I don't know the last time there has been a spot like this in Baltimore County. I hope and pray they continue to get business because we need a place like this in this area. There are plenty of chicken and fish spots in Baltimore City, but this is just around the corner from me and the food is sooo good. Please try it and I think you will be more than satisfied.
